Testimonium Flavianum?
A blatant Christian forgery. Well maybe. I just don't think that Josephus wrote those passages that mention Jesus. There is a signifcant amount of historians who believe that Josephus may have not wrote those passages. The passage that mentions James the brother of Jesus, is actually a reference to Ananias, the high priest, or so I am led to believe. And wasn't the historian Philo a friend of Pontius Pilate and neither mention any such person as Jesus or his crucifixion? |

just gotta say you are a true retard, I mean to say "Jesus did not exist" even though all major monotheistic religions as well as historians accept the fact that Jesus existed, you really are a crackpot.
I mean to say he existed but wasn't God is one thing, but to say he didn't exist is pure stupidity. Its sad how empty your life is, to spend it posting videos to discourage others from finding faith and meaning in their life? How sad and pathetic are you? Were you molested as a child? Did dad and mom not hug you enough? You really are pathetic. |

some people try to act like astrotheology is such easily debunked foolishness. but if this is the case, why has this information been suppressed for no less than the 100 years it has been available to us? other theories that are proven wrong are often studied for educational purposes. in my religious classes, we even (vaguely) studied other cults but when i raised info about astrotheology to the instructor's attention, he just said he'd never heard that & moved onto the next topic.

Astrotheology also comes under cosmology and cosmogony. These three subjects are difficult subjects, and have only been the research of a few comparative religion experts, occultists and the odd Egyptologist or historian. The subject of Astrotheology is the mystery that lays behind the enigmatic myths and utterances, the mystery that was only known to the initiates and the to the priests of that particular cult. It was kept closely guarded from the masses, and the only way we can know about these mysteries is through cross-references to the other neighbouring cults and religions from far and wide, studying language and expressions and studying symbols and metaphors. It is a huge subject; a very specialised subject.

thanks for the references, marty. i have previously tried to find books on the topic of astrotheology at my university library with no luck. its almost as if the establishment wants to pretend that astrotheology doesnt exist. i even get a red line from spell check every time i type in the word 'astrotheology'.

As well as the names of the books I sent you (the ones I have read), you can get the primary sources from the pyramid texts. Google: the wanderings of Isis. See what you find. Google: sacred Egyptian texts.

And what is more, is that if we assume (quite rightly) that Isis escaping from Set and Mary escaping from Herod are one and the same story, can we also connect Herod with Set?
Yes! We can! Herod and Set are the same. Both are kings or rulers. Both associated with the serpent. Both share an equivalent name with RT (Rut) meaning 'serpent' or 'snake'. Set was the serpent associated with Apep, the dragon/serpent. Probably most important is the name Herod which apparently is Her-rud. Horus (Her) and rud( Rut). |
