When it comes to the case of prophets, if someone is going to believe in prophets, why not respect people like Nostradamus who were actually famous for being prophets without being messiahs to faiths. People only believe things that Jesus or Muhammad said because of faith, rather than for the fact they believed in prophecies. They would not disagree with anything their messiahs said for they would not want to be seen as blasphemous.

As an Atheist, I feel that there have been many prophets though out our history. I just do not believe that there is any deity, or supernatural component to these people.

In the case of Slavery, I would suggest that Abraham Lincoln was a better prophet than Muhammad and Jesus, as he understood the moral wrong of slavery. Unlike Muhammad and Jesus, he actually instituted a specific document, namely the Emancipation Proclamation, that freed slaves under non confederate states. Unlike Muhammad, Abraham Lincoln was in a sense martyred.

Fair is fair. Let's bring 150,000 Iraqi troops over here to the USA. They can kill people at checkpoints, bust into their houses with force and violence, butcher their families, overthrow the government, put a new one in office they like better and call it "sovereign," and "detain" anybody who doesn't like it in some prison without any charges being filed against them, or any trial.

Known as "the atheist guy," Hall has been called immoral, a devil worshipper and — just as severe to some soldiers — gay, none of which, he says, is true.I was ashamed to say that I was an atheist," Hall said.
Hall was a gunner on a Humvee, which took several bullets in its protective shield. Afterward, his commander asked whether he believed in God, Hall said.
"I said, 'No, but I believe in Plexiglas,'" Hall said.
The issue came to a head when, according to Hall, a superior officer, Maj. Freddy J. Welborn, threatened to bring charges against him for trying to hold a meeting of atheists in Iraq.

Without knowing Pat, I wouldn't want to speak for him, but I would like to think that he wants people who both agree and disagree with him to be able to exercise their freedom of speech and join in the debate.

Much as clowns like Mummood and Psalmwhatsisname would prefer it if Pat and all of us who support him were silenced, treating them in a similar manner would in my humble opinion make Mr Condell no better than them, and we all know that's not true.

Anyway, it's all good - those guys are good value, as they prove Pat 100% correct.
